Cabela's 2018 NTC - La Crosse, WI - Mississippi river

Craig & I had great time last week trying to figure out the mighty Mississippi river with Todd & Jay. The river conditions started out tough from the boat launch docks being flooded and covered with large logs to high water with multiple dam gates fully open making the muddy river current ripping. We appreciate all the hot tips and methods from Todd Conner but for Craig and I we just couldn't come up with a consistant and solid program. Tod...  more

We had a nice day on Lake Erie on Friday (3/30). The bite was tough but we managed to find a few good walleyes in the Michigan waters near Stoney Point, the Dumping Grounds & Luna Pier. Walleye bandits were the hot bait run anywhere from 20 to 45' behind the Church Tackle TX-22 dual action planer boards and TX-007 stern planer in 16 to 20 f-o-w. I was helping out Adam who bought my old 1900 Lund Pro-V and it still runs great! Adam got his personal best of a 10.5lb walleye behind the Church Tack...  more

While vacationing in Montana we took a couple of days to fish the amazing Fort Peck reservoir for walleyes, saugers, northern pike and small mouth bass. We caught up with Jim Muzynoski from Montana Walleye Guide service, who fished the PWT circuit for quite a few years, and he put us on Montana master angler class fish from 30" walleye, 21" small mouth bass, 40" northern pike and huge saugers.

Jim has a Lund 219 Pro-V fiberglass hull with a Mercury 350 HP Verado that makes navigating this vast ...  more
